Vantage Twentysix is the creative studio of a group of companies in food, real estate, engineering and consulting, based in Kosovo, Albania and Germany. We build the digital products these companies run on: platforms with complex business logic, internal tools, CRM systems, data and analytics, as well as websites and apps. We also work with startups and larger companies across Europe. As our Software Developer, you are responsible for the technical side of everything we build. This is a key role for us. We are looking for an experienced developer, and we are ready to pay well for the right skill level.
What you’ll do
- Design and build the core logic of our platforms, such as matching, pricing and planning algorithms that turn complex business rules into working software.
- Design data models and databases that stay fast and reliable as they grow.
- Build analytics and reporting, so our companies can make decisions based on data.
- Build and connect CRM systems, internal tools and automations for our teams.
- Optimise performance, from database queries to page load times.
- Integrate third-party services such as payments, maps, email and accounting tools.
- Build web platforms, websites and apps together with our UI/UX and Graphic Designers.
- Write tests for your code and make sure every release works before it goes live.
- Make technical decisions on architecture, infrastructure and security, and explain them clearly.
- Work directly with the founders on new products and features.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of professional experience building and shipping software products.
- A university degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
- Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures and system design.
- Strong skills in TypeScript and JavaScript, and in modern frontend frameworks, especially React and Next.js.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js, ideally combined with a second language such as Python, Go, Java or C#.
- Very good knowledge of SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL, and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB or Redis.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure), Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs, authentication and third-party integrations such as payments.
- Experience with data and analytics: complex SQL queries, event tracking and dashboards.
- Automated testing is a normal part of your work: unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
- You use AI tools to work faster, but you understand, check and can explain every line you ship. AI supports your work, it does not replace your own thinking.
- You learn new tools quickly and choose the right technology for each project.
- Albanian and English. German is a plus.
Nice to have
- A master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Experience with mobile apps (React Native).
- Experience building marketplaces, booking or payment systems.
- Knowledge of GDPR and security requirements for European products.
